A ruddy drop of manly blood

The surging sea outweighs,

The world uncertain comes and goes,

The lover rooted stays.

I fancied he was fled,And, after many a year,

Glowed unexhausted kindliness

Like daily sunrise there.My careful heart was free again,

Through thee the rose is red,

All things through thee take nobler form,

And look beyond the earth,

A friend is a person to laugh and cry with,

An inspiration,

Someone who lends a helping hand, though friends may not be forever,

And they may not end up together, the memories of a true friendship will last forever.

A friend is not a shadow nor a servant

But someone who hold a piece of a person in his heart.

Someone who shares a smile, Someone who brightens up your day

What makes a person a friend?

Is by saying your Love will stay.

I wish...I were a beautiful white swan

Swimming

Gliding

Floating through clear blue water

So smoothyou'd think it was glass.

And I wish...I were a dancer on broadway

Kicking

Turning

Jumping my way to stardom;

Roses at my feet

Bowing to the audience.

And I wish...I were a faraway star

Twinkling

Gleaming

Falling and burning through the sky,

While two lovers lie dreaming

On the calm beach beneath me.

You're so special, so loving, you mean so much to me

An angel from heaven, hmmm, that can't possibly be

How could I describe you, it takes such great ease,

Your aura, your nature, it's like a fresh breeze,

The love of your heart is so good to be true,

You don't know how lucky I feel to have a friend like you!

You're telling me you're going, leaving this world,

I can't quite understand, my emotions are in a whirl,

Why heaven would be calling you, when I need you so much,

Its acceptance I must strive for, please though keep in touch.

Come visit me in my dreams, come see me when I'm down,

Come brighten up my day as you do so well now,

For the rest of my life, you will always be my treasure,

I will always be grateful for the times we spent together.
